I'M BACK

The past few days have been very very busy with a lot of stuff to do before Christmas. Last Friday was our team's Christmas Party in Paranaque. It was a fun and exciting time. Then on Saturday, I got my scrapbook stuff that I ordered from Marisa at Tektite Pasid where Nette OF MY LITTLE ATTIC has a clinic. I'm so overjoyed 'coz the long wait is over. Too bad I missed the P-SE XMAS Party @ the Bel-air clubhouse. After Tektite, Jeff & I with Gabrielle went to Robinson's Galleria to do a little shopping. Sunday was spent malling at Glorietta with the whole family.

As of today, it's 17 days to go before our trip home to Bacolod. =)

I wanna go scrapbooking shopping again at Helen of Memory Lane, maybe this weekend. =)

I wanna buy a bag(again!) perhaps a Louis Vuitton or a Kenneth Cole.

It's off to Sabangan again in Batangas for the Holy Week.

Gabrielle is becoming independent.

Jeff and I are celebrating our 3rd year anniversary on December 22.

A FLAIR FOR FASHION

I grew up wearing beautiful clothes which were passed from one generation to another. I got to experience the Benetton, Esprit, Giordano, etc fad. I think it was only in college that I really got myself into living the life which is branded from head to toe. I admit that I love branded stuff and how I wish I have more more funds to satisfy my cravings. I'm especially addicted to shoes and bags but looking back I realized that I should have collected jewelries since their value never depreciates and as time passes by it's considered a heirloom that I can give to my daughter. I love anything nice whether branded or not. I love my LV, Gucci, Prada, Kenneth Cole, Chanel, ine West, Tod's, YSL, Coach, Anne Klein, etc. How I wish I can have Hermes, Balenciaga, Bottega Venetta, Dior, etc to add to my list.

Anyway, I still consider myself contented 'coz I get to taste this kind of luxury. I believe that this are just material things that can be attained. These are just wants which are not important. One's needs should come first. In my case, my family's needs most especially of my daughter comes first before anything else. They're more important than a Birkin or Kelly bag. =)

THIS AND THAT

Christmas is just around the corner and I'm not yet done with my Xmas shopping. I really love Christmas - the time that everyone can be together and bond. But it's also the time that I miss the people that I haven't seen for a long time and my bestfriend Pol is one of those people. Anyway, I'll be seeing my family in Bacolod on December 28 as I will be spending the New Year there with Gabrielle. Yup it's just me and Gabrielle 'coz Jeff is not coming with us sincethe plane ticket is expensive. I'm kinda sad about his decision but it's a practical one.

I'm still thinking what I going to give to myself this Christmas. I'm torn between a lot of choices like a wristwatch, camera, bag or jewelry. Hmmmm. Can I just have all? For Jeff, I want to buy him Oakley slippers but since he's a comic collector, he would rather want something to add to his collection. Grrr. For Gabrielle, I would like to buy her the Elmo toy that we saw at Rustan's but she already has so many toys and so maybe it's clothes for her. I need to get my mother-in-law a nice gift soon.

No work on Friday as it's Thankgiving Day in the States. I'm going to accompany my friend Sherly to pick up some scrapbook stuff from Helen of Memory Lane. I hope I will not end up buying for myself. Wink!

RAINY THURSDAY

What a rainy day it is today. Rainy days just make me wanna stay in bed and sleep and relax but I have to get up to get to work. No excuses to be absent just because it's raining. Jeff drove me to work early as the car is coding today and he has to be home at 7 AM to avoid being caught by Makati police. Today is such a lazy day with the gloomy weather and all.

Tomorrow I'm going on half-day as I have an appointment with my ob-gyne for breast exam and to get the result of my pap smear. It's really important that I go to the doctor so that I won't be paranoid anymore. The past few days I've been worried about my left breast. Last month, I went to the ob-gyne and she felt something in my left breast and advised me to go back after 10 fays. It's past the 10 days and so I'm going back tomorrow. She told me there was nothing to worry about but I am worried. I hope and pray that everything will be alright. I'm kinda scared but my faith is strong that I will be ok. Please help me Lord.

Tomorrow is also the start of the Rockwell Urban Bazaar at the Rockwell Tent. It's going to run till Sunday and the entrance fee is only 100 pesos. A lot of good finds will be available and it's a great way to start your Xmas shopping. If everything's ok with my check-up tomorrow, I'm dropping by the bazaar to pick-up my 2008 Belle De Jour planner and to shop a little as well. A lot of bazaars are coming up but I'm looking forward to the World Bazaar at World Trade Center on December. It's the biggest bazaar ever with I think 5000 participants. Wow!

THE CLOSET

I've always wanted to have a walk-in closet so I can organize my stuff most especially my never-ending addition of shoes and bags. I've searched online for ideas so I can present it to Jeff and convince him that I badly need one. Of course, it's going to be a remedy for him as he's always complaining about my mess in our room. This mess according to him are my magazines, shoes, bags, scrapbook stuff, etc. So I was able to convince him to make the balcony beside our comfort room as my closet extension. It's a very simple one, I chose white and added color to the room through the decors. Clothes are on the right side while the shoes & bags are on the left side. My pricey bags are kept in their dustbags & boxes while the shoes that I seldom wear are out from their boxes and serves as color to the room.

Now. this what I call a CLOSET! OMG, this walk-in closet only contains this famous singer's many shoes. I wonder is she also has a closet for her bags and clothes separately. This golden walk-in shoes closet belongs to MARIAH CAREY! =)

I LOVE CHRISTIAN

Oops, don't get me wrong. That Christian is not another guy or whatsoever. He is the first name of the famous Louboutin shoes. If Manolo Blahnik has Manolos, Jimmy Choo has Choos , then Christian Louboutin has Louboutins. His shoes are seen almost on all women's feet in Hollywood. You can tell if it's Louboutin throught it's signature red soles. I think Katie Holmes has even a closet full of Louboutins because she's always seen in red-soled shoes.

BELLE DE JOUR

This weekend I'm getting my 2008 planner from Belle de Jour and I'm already excited to get my hands on them. It's more nice and improved compared to the 2007 edition and every girl should have them. For only 548 pesos it's more cheap and reasonable than spending a lot to get a Starbucks planner. For more info about Belle de Jour, you may visit their site at http://www.belledejourpowerplanner.com/

IT' S ALMOST CHRISTMAS

It's almost Christmas and I can already feel the cold weather coming in at night. Yesterday, my mother-in-law began decorating the house filling the house with a lot of decors and the giant Christmas tree is up in the living room. Gabrielle was so amazed when the lights were turned on the tree and she was really beaming. Last year, she was only 5 months old and still a baby. She was even in her carseat when she had her 1st Christmas photo taken last year. Now she's toddler who has so much energy and zest. I'm still thinking what to get her for Christmas but I already bought her some clothes during the weekend. I'm trying to get off from toys as she has a cabinet full of them and some are yet to be opened.

Speaking of December, I'm already eager to get my orders from Marisa of Scrapbooks Hawaii at the SE Xmas Party on December 8. I've been like waiting for it for 2 months. I'm trying to balance my money by not buying scrapbook stuff alone but also still able to buy what I love - clothes, shoes and bags. Speaking of shoes, they're like overflowing now and they're such a mess. My bags are kept in their dustbags and boxes but my shoes are so so messy. Grrr. I need to buy another shoerack soon. Our room is so full of my stuff and Jeff is already complaining. I mean what can I do? Women needs more shoes. =)

Speaking of shoes, according to celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, there are only 5 shoes that all women should own. These are a timeless patent, a simple riding boot, a stunning red shoe, a fabulous flat and a wild animal print. I totally agree with her, these are the shoes we women should have. I used to stick to basic colors before for my shoes but now I love to buy them in different colors. I need to get myself another one before Christmas.

That's all for now guys, ciao!

KATIE HOLMES BACK IN HOLLYWOOD

Katie Holmes was present again at the premiere of Tom Cruise' movie Lions For Lambs in Hollywood. I don't know yet who made her beautiful black Grecian-style gown but it looks fantastic and pairing it off with an embellished gladiator sandals. It's just perfect. Her hair and makeup looks very simple and fresh.

KATIE HOLMES ARMANI PRIVE DRESS

Katie Holmes wore an Armani Prive beaded dress to the premiere of her hubby Tom's movie Lions For Lambs in Berlin. The dress is beautiful but the shape which is assymetric kinda make her look pregnant. I love her beaded pumps with bow. Her makeup and hair looks great on her. What do you guys think of her look?

AN AFTERNOON OF HOARDING

It's ALL SAINTS DAY today and so I have a 1-day break off from work. The family started day early by going to the Chinese Cemetery to visit loved-ones. By noon, we were on our way home. We were supposed to go to the mall but since everyone were tired and sleepy, it was just home sweet home. Anyway, I decided to go to Helen Chua of Memory Lane Store. She's having her anniversary sale til November 6. I bought a lot of papers and cardstocks as well as clear stamp, pigment ink and rikraks. It was my first time to meet Helen and visit her store and she was very accomodating. Her store is like a wonderland full of scrapbook goodies. I was trying my very best not to be overjoyed but I was. Since hubby and baby were with me, I had to watch out what I'm buying and not to spend too much. Well, there's always a next time. =)

Katie Holmes was spotted arriving at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin wearing a Balenciage babydoll dress. Sienna Miller was also caught wearing the same dress before. Does this dress suit Katie? What do you think?

My First Post

Thank God it's Friday and yes I'm officially on blogspot.com. Yehey! I will try to post entries daily as often. Tomorrow's the wedding of my boss Wayne and the whole team is going. I will just be attending the ceremony at St. Francis Church in Ortigas as I have an appointment with Jeff and Gabrielle. I still have to buy something to wear for tomorrow though. I'm thinking of pairing a slim black pants with a formal top of gold or whatever I can find later after work.
